Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver builds homes for people in need of safe, decent and affordable shelter, so who better to lead the way than Tim Wake, an affordable housing consultant.  Tim recently joined Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver as our CEO, bringing a wealth of affordable housing experience to the table.  Previously, he was General Manager of the Whistler Housing Authority and a Whistler Municipal Councillor.  He facilitated production of a Comprehensive Housing Action Plan for Canmore, Alberta and prepared three publications on affordable housing.  Tim has a broad understanding of housing challenges and his experience in overcoming those challenges is the reason why he is excited by the tasks and opportunities before him as he embarks on this new journey. Tim has the able and dedicated support of the staff, volunteers and Board of Directors.
