Phase 5 is already well underway!  Our dedicated volunteers have already completed the framing and the floor panels for the first floor and have started to make some real progress on the second floor as well.  Soon we will bring in a crane to lift the remaining pre-fabricated wall panels which were built during the ugly winter months.  The concrete for the basement floors has been poured and work on framing and vapor barriers have commenced.  The windows for the project are expected to be delivered any day now and we anticipate installing them in just a few months time! 

We have definitely made some excellent progress in just a short time and with a limited schedule.  Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver wants to send a huge thanks to everyone who came out and hit some nails, carried some timber and even took out the garbage.  There is no job too small and every little bit counts.  We still have a ton of work to do but each day we are one step closer to making families dreams come true; owning a home of their own.
